By Airways: The Bengaluru airport is the major airport which was thrown open by the public-private venture on May 2008. Many domestic as well as international flight operators operate between Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkota and Chennai. Kingfisher airlines, Jet airways, India airlines and Spice jet are major operators at the domestic level. The Bangaluru international airport is the main international airport located 40 kms from the main city.
By Railways: The city railway station is 8 kms from the Mg road, Cantonment Rasilway station is 3km from MG road and the Yeshwanthpur railway station is 10 km from Mg road. Bangalore is well connected by road to all the major cities of India.
By Road: Bangalore is well connected by road with the rest of India. Kempegowda Bus Stand (Inter State) in Bangalore is the Central Bus Stand, a 24-hour hub for buses plying all over South India. There are services to Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh,Kerala, Maharashtra, Puducherry and Goa. Bangalore is connected to India’s major cities through the National Highways NH 4, NH 7 and NH 209.
